For saving that special seat on the bus, so my routine would not be disrupted
For ignoring the screams of anxiety, when I didn’t know what others expected

For saying hello to me every morning, even when I didn’t respond
For pushing me on the swing, though when it was your turn - I didn’t correspond

For accepting all the pictures in the classroom, they help me better understand my day
For reminding to check my schedule, when my feeling and actions were in disarray

For all the those beautiful drawings you gave me, someday I’ll appreciate them even more
For just wanting to be my friend when I walked through our classroom door
